The hotel was amazing, an ancient heritage building. I felt very safe because the doors are locked with a card to get through. The size of the room exceeded expectations. The room was cleaned every day and toiletries were replenished. I had a small problem in the bathroom which the staff fixed while I was enjoying the city of Florence. Good breakfast, plus that they optionally provide quality coffee not from a machine. You can have breakfast on the beautiful terrace overlooking the Pitti Palace. The location is perfect especially for solo travellers, everything is close at hand.

The location was excellent! We seemed to be central to absolutely everything & no where was far by foot! Our room was opposite a quiet courtyard & we slept really well! The room was comfortable & spacious. This was one of the main reasons we chose to book this hotel as many other hotels had reviews saying people couldn’t sleep due to local noise. I can assure you we did not hear a thing & slept soundly at Hotel La Scaletta, it was a welcome escape from our energetic lively days! 😆 The views from the roof top were also breathtakingly beautiful. We didn’t book dinner in advance & so they were fully booked unfortunately. We were able to have drinks earlier on the balcony & roof top however, so at least we could get to see & enjoy the views.

Beautiful old building - we had a ground floor room that opened on to a lovely courtyard garden. Unbelievably quiet considering the location. Lovely staff, great location

Every staff member greeted and treated us pleasantly, professionally, warmly, and helpfully. The roofdeck is simply spectacular. The sumptuous breakfast buffet up there was an easy choice throughout our stay, and we decompressed from travel with a cocktail and sunset views the afternoon we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location is central and handy to all our destinations. My daughter loved gazing out those tall windows in our room.

I had an injury and was wheelchair bound, and we were placed in a perfect room with easy access to the entrance. We found the staff on reception extremely helpful and kind. Thank you ❤️

Ideal location, close to everything but just far enough away to avoid the hoards of tourists on the other side of the Arno. You can walk here from the train station in under half an hour. The Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace are only a few steps away. We had a very comfortable room with a well appointed bathroom, including a rainhead shower that produces plenty of hot water. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. A nice fellow took our bags and showed us to our room, which was great, because the elevator is only big enough for two people, and we would’ve wandered around looking for our room.

The service - front desk who checked us in (gentleman, sadly I didn't get his name) was friendly and, on the first night, walked us directly to the room and gave us useful hotel and area tips. Location & Price & decore - all A+. The room was always made by midday, strong air-conditioning, so rooms stayed cold (welcomed in the Italian heat) , great hot / cold shower with strong water pressure. Loby and room decor were tasteful and not overwhelming. TLDR - great service and fantastic value. Highlights include room cleaniess, room fuction, decor, and location. Would book again.

To start. The location was great. The the property was beautiful. Close to public transport Close to súper market. Their roof top restairant is superb. The staff was excelente. They helped us with the rooms. We had booked smaller rooms because we did not realize in pictures. They realized we did it in error. So they moved us to other rooms. We appreciate them. The lady at the counter was very supportive and Lorenzo or rodrigo not sure. Helped us with the property tour. Thank you again.

Located between the Ponte Vecchio and Boboli Gardens, it's a stones throw away from most of the Florentian points of interest. Osterias, trattorias, ristorantes all within a short walk so you have to worries getting food - you don't have to purchase breakfast with the room. It was very fortunate of us to get a free upgrade to a luxury suite! Thank you for that!
